Hydrolyzer
« on: August 09, 2010, 10:46:09 AM »
A good friend of mine installed one of these kits on his car a few months back.  He records his mileage every tank.  Especially on the highway. After installing it he has gone from 32mpg to 40!!!
Only cost him $400, well worth it!
I am waiting to see how this unit works in our winters then ill add it to my van.

Having this on some of your full size vans would really pay off quick if you made returns of 25%

What is it?

It sounds like something I saw advertised 25 years ago.

The little unit produces hydrogen, which is plumbed into the intake. ( i cant remember the ratio of hydrogen to fuel, just quite low is all i know)

One or two computer modules that play with the computer to play with the sensors, i know the older units without it did not work well at all.  Before the computer would freak out and dump more fuel into the engine, thus getting worse millage.

But he seems to be making mpg gains all the time now.  Pretty much all you have to do is add distilled water to the unit.

Ill try and get the website from the one he is using.

Either way its interesting.

So it sounds like the vehicle produces and runs off of HHO?

Is it something like this?

http://www.amazon.com/Nebulyzer-Hydrogen-Generator-Cell-Unassembled/dp/B003459B0S

Things have sure come a long ways since the pickle jar, copper wiring and baking soda.

Looks interesting.

$797 for the one that would fit my rig.

Draws 45 amps. You might need a bigger battery or Alternator?

From what I understand an HHo unit can only be hooked up to an engine using a carb. Is your buddys car fuel injected?

he has a 2002 Buick Regal
You can get the kits for either carb or fuel injection.

No, I am not actively cleaning.   :'(

Even if I was it would be commercial only. ..........Just say NO to residential is my motto.  ;D

When I sold my business in January I signed a non compete. That's probably the only thing that keeps me from cleaning part time.

So..........IF I was working I could justify the expense of one of these systems?  ::)

Not too many Jim-Bob's around here that's for sure.  ::)

Maybe Jean-Paul would be better?  ;D

I did owner finance the business sale so if something happens I could still end up cleaning?
