When I worked at a carpet cleaning plant they would do all the upholstery in plant. They had an old large table for the furniture. They used shampooing method with a milwakee drill, rotory brush head, and a shampoo pump that fed the drill with the brush attachment. That set up would clean anything you could put in front of it. The real nasty stuff we would fire up a porty and give it a quick hwe.

Does anyone know if they still sell the drill attachment ?

I know Rick G has one at his site but might not be what you seek.

I also think Jim E had a 'kit' similar to what you write about. Grant was not real amused with his.

That looks cool Mike,
How do you like it?  Is it real fast and easy, good for high production on commercial UP jobs?

Do you just scrub n run, or do you have to go back and extract?

For uph i still use my vapor steamer in conjuction with the makita w/ rick's drill driver.  What i enjoy about the makita is that eventually i can use it for many other niches, since the variable speed goes from 600 to over 3000 rpms.

We use it both with shampoo & encap. Great for Office chairs, hook up to pepsi sprayer. Go down a lineup of chairs. Follow up with Desiderio With Vac & Steam after you finish the cleaning, again in a line. Good production times.  We sell the process as cleaning & sanitizing, thus the steam.

Have had the Makita for a couple of years..it's heavier and a little more awkward than the US Products drill setup. It does great when I'm buffing my van, tho.

Which speed setting, chems, pads, do you use to buff the van? I've seen a ton of videos on youtube of people doing it too.
