Upholstery wand
« on: October 19, 2008, 10:44:35 AM »
Have any of you used a variety of upholstery wands with your hwe units?  The one mine came with certainly works it just seems like it could be an inch wider or somehow easier to use.

I've seen talk of a drimaster uph tool but I think they run about 400 or so?  Any other good experiences, something that somehow speeds up the process would be nice!  But with my spotter I'm only working with 55psi I think.

This is what I have used for years. It is the low pressure model (100 psi). I believe it is 4" wide.

PMF makes some nice upholstery tools.

Sounds like you have a spotting machine? I would stick to an external jet tool. I think PMF has one that's either 4 or 4.5" wide.

I personally like the internal jet PMF tools but they use more water and pressure than you are working with.

I am a huge fan of the Drieaze tool. oes through a ton of water but cleans really good and dries really fast.
Had one of those stupid single jet spray everywhere upholstery tools before that.

I keep a Prochem upholstery tool ( totally indestructable) and a jetless unit.  I almost always use the prochem over the jetless, unless the upholstery is micro fiber.
