I didn't call. We don't have any guitar centers locally.

Would have called if I was near a city that had one.

So did anyone here get anything out of this? Just curious...

I spoke w/ him. I didn't see the original post until you brought it up John. I have about 11 stores in my service area but I think he is covered on the ones closest to my base. Didn't get too deep into the discussion after that, seems to have some other Big Box stuff as well (with varying floor surfaces).
