Everyone wipes down the baseboards and the edges with a microfiber towel, right?

Nope. I use my tool on my vacuum to do edges as needed. Just being honest.

Me either.  I always edge vacuum though.    Otherwise Mike I fully agree with your post-vac comments.  The purpose of the post-vac isn't just to make it look purdy, it's to re-set the fibers and minimize or eliminate tip issues.

I went through many vacs trying to find one that workes well for op with repeated post-vacuuming.  The pro-team is the only one I've found thous far that could hold up to the beating.  Apparently the Sanitaire / Powerflite 757 can too though.

Proteam 1500xp and the Pullman host which is what I got never had an issue w/ post vaccing.  Vac still runs great, and I only change out the bags.  Once a month I take it to the local store and get a full tune up cost about $30 bucks, they clean it out, and make it run like new.

Hmm I might just have to check on that with my local place... I hate cleaning that thing out.
