I stayed up most of the night reading posts and installing some security mods. Got done around 1:30 AM. Just checked and no error codes! Finally!

Will work the rest of today installing more security features. Most are behind the scenes so you shouldn't notice. These changes will also help against future attacks..........at least until they figure some other way.

One thing that I read last night was that some of the bots and attacks are activating or trying to set up "sleeper" members that can be used for something later. Fortunately I have been pruning member lists and already had some security in place to deal with that issue. There is a reason our member list looks small most of the time. The members are real, not bots or fake registrants. Anyone that hasn't posted in a certain time, or who has been a member and not ever posted get axed. I ban the confirmed bad guys but I leave the door open for others to re-register.

What gets me is that hackers have nothing better to do than attack forums. Even cleaning forums! We must possess knowledge or something worth a lot of money.
