Database Errors
« on: September 16, 2011, 06:54:58 AM »
I've been getting a lot of database error codes lately.

Hopefully most of you don't see any issues with the site. I'm working with the hosting company to try and resolve the issue.

Looks like certain queries are taking to long and getting timed out or losing connection.

Implemented some other suggestions from the host.

They were able to confirm for me that there were some server issues yesterday but everything is stable today.

Glad no one is noticing anything major.  :great:

Hopefully we have the error code issue fixed now. It was something at the server...............

"It seems that another users script was stuck in a loop causing the processes to stack up."

Sure took the hosting company a long time to admit what I already suspected. It was always my fault or the software we use. I did implement some of the changes to the forum they suggested though.

Hopefully the site will be faster as an added benefit. If I see any more codes I'll be moving to another hosting company that I've already selected.
