Attachment bug
« on: July 31, 2010, 09:13:41 PM »
Found we have a common problem with this current version of software.

When attaching larger files (usually pics) we get a white screen? Working on some fixes for that now but I've disabled the attachment thumbnail for the time being which seems to eliminate it for now. Will have to do some programming tomorrow to see if I can fix the issue.

Sorry for any inconvenience.

Been working on it for hours.

Found that most all the language files were infected. Not related to this issue but I've deleted and fixed them. Literally hundreds of files.  :P

Have implemented all the fixes I've read about so far. Not sure if I have it yet or not?

Had enough for one night though. Will hit it again in the AM.

Worked on this for hours now without major resolution. It is a known issue but no fixes seem to be available yet?

I did find out that the size of the pic we try to attach is the issue. Some of us have high resolution cameras. Seems the software can't handle that at this time. I resized some pics down to 1000X1000 and was able to post them.

Larger pics cause a white screen.  :P

I think the issue lies with the resizing portion of the software.
