You are a talented guy. So what do you think about the setup? Will it work out ok on a job?

I should probably get a pressure washer that will pump 2.4 GPMs and a pressure regulator. The shop vac doesn't have auto pump out, but when it gets full, it only takes takes about a minute and a half to dump those 18 gallons.

If I use some good Chems, my OP machine with grout brush attachment, grout brush, and spinner, one of these tools is bound to work ;D

That's as cheap as it gets.  :)

It works don't it? I've used a similar setup and also used a flood pumper with an electric pressure washer.

I need to set up another spinner at some point and I'll go back to that. Its easier for me to handle that way too.

Mike,

It was your idea. The PSI is 1500, do you thin its actually less at the spinner head?

You def. need more h2o flow, atleast two gal. min.  From what I saw in the video my spinner spins about twice as fast.

That being said, congrats on being on your way to cleaning tile.

I'll give you all a clue about how spinners work. It CAN be PSI but ...........you can change the size of the jets to match your flow.

You don't need 2.0 gal to clean tile. Go to a smaller jet size and the spinner should work fine.

I modified a Steel Eagle spinner a few years ago. It was a 24" spinner designed for pressure wash guys. It was awesome except the jets. They were set up for a 4gpm pressure washer. Put some smaller jets in it and she spun like a madman. I used to do 8K per month with that tool. These little toys they sell for carpet cleaners won't cut it on big commercial jobs. Big jobs require big tools. Mytee does have a 20"? spinner now.

not only can you get the spinners the PW guys use, they can be had as big as 36", and also can have vacuum ports on em.
they do require lotsa pressure to work but as mike already mentioned, reduce the jet size   ;)

Micky - You do realize we just gave away one of our production "secrets".  :o

The rest of the industry is using 12" spinners.

That's not as "cheap as it gets", Gentlemen.

How about a pail and a brush?

Ed - We don't want customers to know they could use low tech methods to clean.

We're trained "technicians".

When's your new machine coming out? Haven't seen much about it recently?

Now, why did you have to scare Ed away with that comment Mike?
