Getting Online Bids FREE
« on: October 14, 2006, 10:15:13 AM »
Does anyone know of a GOOD and FREE online bid site where we may place bids to provide janitorial services?  most of the one's I've seen are pay sites, and our experience with them has not been good, as you usually pay much more for the access that what the number of relevant bids they provide are really worth.

Any help is appreciated. thanks!

Not at the moment. That is something we are going to offer but it won't be in the near future. You know the old saying "all it takes is time and money"

Looks like you use outside reps for your company. That is probably the best bet for now.

Sevice Magic costs money as you know Don. I have a feeling Excel has tried it and looking for something else?

I'm signed up with Servicemagic. I live a bit out of the higher population areas so I only get about one lead a month. With just that much the cost is minimal. I figured I'd just try it for a year and see. I've so far gotten about 1 job for every 2 leads which isn't bad, considering a few of the callers just had a question. In a larger city where they send leads to lots of companies simultaneously it could be a crap-shoot.
