Switching from Cleaner to Manager
« on: January 11, 2012, 01:10:29 AM »
Just got a full time job offer I can't turn down.

I am a arcade / pinball technician now!  ^_^

I am changing gears from doing all the work myself to being the manager and having the work done exclusively by an employee. I have been training a guy for almost a half a year now he will be all on his own.

Time to take a deep breath and hope his training has been sufficient.

Blessings on the transition. Might want to hire another person quick like and have the guy you trained start training your second. Expensive, but if the first one bolts, you still have a service tech. Also, teaching someone else is a great way to learn.

It feels like 2 full time jobs!

I think getting a helper for my tech to train is a wonderful idea. I would hate to get fired because I have to go clean carpets because my tech ditched on me.....
