We've all read posts about HWE vs Encap or low moisture.
One analogy always seemed to be "Would you wash your hair and not rinse?"
Guess what?! There are actually shampoos that are designed to be used without water. Here's a link to a story.

rinse-less shampoos have been around for quite some time. just look at hospitals and such!

I had a girlfriend (centuries ago) who sometimes used ordinary talcum powder as a dry shampoo. It worked by being brushed through the hair, absorbing the sebaceous oil (grease).

dry shampoo is out there.... I probably will never use it.
As far as a HWE / LM analogy goes, I prefer to think of HWE as a touch-less car wash, and LM as a hands on one.
