Ball bearing part no: 6006-2RS (Found on eBay) 1) Ball peen Hammer
30mm I.D 55 O.D 13 mm Thickness (30x55x13) 2) 5/32 Allen wrench
Loctite (I used red) 3) Flat head screw driver
4) Brass drift / punch
1) Remove center brush cup (4 screws)
2) Remove flywheel, place a flat head screwdriver on motor shaft. While holding screwdriver in place, turn the flywheel counterclockwise (If is difficult tap with hammer).
3) Remove bearing retainer and ball bearing center plug, spacer from flywheel by removing (2) 5/32 allen screws.
4) Remove spacer and tap out center plug keeping attention to which direction it came out, tap out bearing with punch from bearing retainer.
5) Install new bearing by reversing the procedure,
Note: Add Loctite to the (2) Allen screws on the installation.
This process took about 30 minutes, I took it apart then ordered the bearing since I didn’t know the size. It would be easier to have the part on hand and replace.
