yeah, mike is 100% on the money with what he showed in the pics. after tinkering with it a lil while yull be like, "darn, that what easy to do"!
just be sure yer pressure line can handle the pressure as well as which ever tool yull be using.
i'm currently working on building my own high pressure spinner tool with vac port. i experimented with one of the cheapo karcher surface tools, and blew it into a million pieces with my 13 horse washer

the small electric washers are ok, the one i use right now is rated at 1400psi but by the time the water exits the pressure line and tool, its maybe 1000, maybe a lil less which is perfect for T&G cleaning.
fyi.....rather then installing a regulator, try using a high pressure ball valve and reduce the flow/pressure that way. you can install the valve right on the tile tool. works pretty good for me!
