Try Dultmeier. http://www.dultmeier.com

They have quite a few listed on the site. Just did a search for "flojet" and there were plenty of choices. Looks like the one you want is $86.75?

I got one at Jon Don.  My MS went through 3 pumps the first year.  It's actually gone through another I just don't worry about it any more. I only use it about once a week now so I just keep some towels under it to catch the leaks.  That was a PITA when using it on every job though.

WOW - That must be better than sex!

I've been in quick cars, the fastest one was in a 10.50 car, and scared the shits outta me.  I couldn't imagine 6:85.

Do you think the pump failures are due to design/manufacturing problems, or not flushing them out every night?

I have a MultiSprayer on the way, and was wondering if any amount of preventative maintenance would be enough to prevent a pump failure.

Are you using solvents that might weaken the seals? Or just normal Encap, protector chems?

These can be rebuilt, right?  A couple of years ago I found some vitron seals for a pump rebuild kit that looked as if they might hold up longer than the Silicone seals in the factory setup....

The flushing is more for the tip than anything?

Mike is right, the heads are rebuildable fairly cheap. As long as the motor works these things should last for years.

Still don't see why you guys are having such trouble? I've had Multisprayers for years. I got my last one from Joe Mellon a while back and have had NO trouble with it. Same for my Redrocket battery sprayer.

There are only a couple manufacturers for these sprayer motors and they have been using them in all kinds of spraying applications for years.

The Shurflo pumps that I buy and the Flowjets that come in the Multisprayers have Viton seals. I personally only run encap juices in mine. I neglect to run 50/50 alcohol/water for upkeep though. May be why mine go out. I also am wondering if Flojet are better pumps than Shurflo? My Mytee pumps are the ones that keep going out (on my third in one year) and they are Shurflo. My Multisprayer has a Flojet in it and it seems to run smoother. The new Shurflo I just recieved has been used one time and it doesn't seem right.

A few months ago my MS sprayer stared sounding a little rough, sure enough the motor stated leaking from the housing just like Grant's did. Of course the 1 year warranty expired about three months ago. I sent an email to MS they said I needed mechanic abilities to install kit and referred me to local distributor for a replacement flow jet pump.

Campusman, did you ever install an aquatec pump in sprayer? I think I'm going with a B&G sprayer Micky thinks very highly of those and use the MS as back up.

Another update.

I mention on a second email that the multisprayer was only 14 months old and Gene is going to send me a new aquatec pump at cost plus shipping, that's awesome. Flowjet sucks!

I hope my pump in my Multisprayers holds up. So far so good. My Mytee sprayer is on it's third pump in a year and half. The Multi has been working out great.

I just received my new Aquatec pump 70 PSI I think the flowjet was 50PSI I couldn't read the info on the flow jet it was worn out. Gene sent instructions and hardware to mount new pump hanging upside down. The flow jet laid on a foam cushion. The new mounting will help with overheating. I hope this one last more than 14 months. But it sure was nice of those guys to sell me the Aquatec at cost thanks Gene.

More clarity on the language you speak, some may only get the drag part.
