modifications
« on: July 01, 2011, 10:43:06 AM »

i probably shouldnt even post this cause i'm too retarded to learn how to post pics but thought i'd share this anyways!

in my down time, and when i get pissed at manufacturers whose equipment falls very short of what they claim they are, i modify and/or totally change equipment into much easier to use, and much much more powerful then the original, not to mention, much more versatile!
i been doing this kinda stuff since i entered this business, kinda guess its a fetish?

anyways...............

the vento op i have is now a wheels on the ground machine that actually works extremely well. when i get the extra time, i may even install a removable pump system w/tank.

one of the old eclipse extractors i have is now a screaming beast. it had strong vac before but now its quite a different machine, with auto dump, flood pump, continuous flow, as well as now being a true hot water extractor. can now also use it as a high pressure T&G and all hard surfaces machine, and with the aid of hot flowing household water, it flushes very well.

one of my larger air duct machines now has a larger motor to generate about another 500cfm, on top of the 2500 it already had. i've retro-fitted the top flanges on the unit to accept 8" hose as well as 12" hose.

my custom built hyper vax, which doubled as a powerful booster vac/shop-vac, now flows right around 600cfm thru 4" hose, and literally screams when all 4 vacs are tured on. this machinse is now used for air ducts, dryer vents, back up wet/dry pick-up vac, and can still be used as the most powerful booster vac ever made! all with hepa filters to boot!

i would've built more but last month i lost most of my equipment i had in storage due to flooding, and even lost a bunch of cleaning chems i was gonna give to joel!

oh well, one day i'll learn how to take and post digital vids and pics, so i can share some of the stuff i do besides the cleaning!
bit for now, its a weekend of lotsa bbq and adult beverages   :celebrate:

very cool.  You should just open a photo bucket account. dump all of your pictures in there and then at least you can post the link.  :) I would love to see some of that stuff.

I too have been thinking about rigging a system on my Challenger max to make it a wheels down machine.  Will probably start that project after I get my cx-20 back and together again.   July 5th cant come soon enough.
