What is your favorite color or finish for a machine?

RED---WHITE-----&-------BLUE.
I have always loved the traditional American Colors.

I like white tennis shoes; had RED service trucks; BLUE, and WHITE manufacture trucks; blue extension cords; blue and sometimes red psi hoses; blue vacuum hoses;

I'd like orange and blue. How hard is it to repaint a machine anyone done it themselves?

I have repainted cars, golf carts and such. It's not to bad. Finish sanding with nothing less than 600 grit ( I use 1000 in the end) and if you have a good air compressor and HVLP gun painting small things is pretty easy. Using a single stage paint makes things even easier so you dont have to spray your color and then finish with a clear coat. It's all in one.

Buuuuuttttt  I am in the process of getting my CX-20 powder coated The same colors as my carpet truck.  Flourescent green and Flourescent Orange.  But just found out I have to rebuild the Electric motor first. $255.  The bearings i the motor were wallowed out.

Slightly off topic but NU Tech is rebuilding his gear box.

I was afraid of that very thing when I bought my cx 20.

Do not fear it.... If needed anyone who ever needs a gearbox rebuilt. Just Pm me. The overall cost is not detemined as I have not got all costs up.

a Brand new rebuilt gear box would be at most $300 at cost.
Having hardened teeth, and using royal purple gear lube. It will last beyond its determined life. 4-5 years of continuous use.
