Driver pad on stair tool

I have the step son for doing stairs. The velcro pad needs to be reattached. On my OP machine I use a 3M spray on adhesive and it works fine, but then it is attaching the velcro to solid plastic. Will this also work on the step son where the velcro is attached to a foam base?

I just had to do that to my stair tool. The only thing I had handy was rubber cement, IT seems to have worked but I have only used it once since them.

I dont know. I think you would have to put more on since the styrofoam is more
porous. I use that same spray it works good for the floor machine.

John sells some 3m adhesive in a tube. Pretty sure that's what they use to attach it?

Some aerosols contain solvents that might affect the foam?

I've used the stuff John G sells to attach velcro to my stepson (challenger version) several times and it works for a while.  Eventually the foam rips, etc. and I have to do it again.
