At just over $3800 I would just stick with a Trinity. One thing I like though is it has a five gallon solution tank but, seems that would be alot of weight to push around?

Nope watch his video it is on it. He actually sent back the heads to have them clear coated or he would have had them for sale by now. he is very picky and hand making them i believe. I wish it was not so expensive but he is not mass producing them just making small batches so you gotta pay for that quality. That is why john is charging high for the trinity he is assembling them himself to.

Glad to see another manufacture create additional choices and options of equipment. Sounds like a nice machine, I'm sure the quality is as good as their cleaning products. I have used Ultra Clean many times with success!

looks like a great machine. I like the tank, I think it looks like a racing fuel can. They are super easy to fill because of the wide mouth.

I find it odd. It is a 1 h.p 175 that has been regeared to being a 200. A top of the line 1.5 hp 175 costs $900. So he is charging $2800 for powdercoating and and a spray system. For $1700 you can get a Klindex 175 that can handle any Stone grinding duties with 150 pounds of added weight on it.   That is a ridiculous premium for a powder coat.

Oops My bad I also missed the 3rd wheel.

AT least with Johns machine he was pretty much reinventing the OP Machine. Was engineering a 1" orbit and trying to make a truly unique machine. This is just pimping my ride. Nothing new.
By the way I think John did a much better job the second time with the CM.

Hi, The motor has a custom winding made to my spec. The motor r.p.m. into the gear box will determine the final output speed, in this case 200 r.p.m. just like the Carpet Max. The Mini is made from scratch with an aluminum plate formed into the base. Stainless hardware, handle supports, handle axle etc. Its not your run of the mill machine. A video should be up later today and can be viewed at: http://bonnetpro.com/carpetmax/minifeatures.html  that along with the Mini webs pages will give very detailed machine info. You also missed the clear coat.

Wow, great video! Machine looks bullet proof, and versatile. Only thing Im curious about is how to pick it up and take it up residential steps?

I'm an OP guy so I have no dog in this hunt.  I think if I used a rotary as my primary tool every day I'd probably give this machine a long hard look.  I think it would need much bigger wheels to go up bull-nose stairs and deck stairs with no riser.  That would likely be the deal breaker for me.  It doesn't look like it would be very easy at all to lift and carry up stairs in the current form??  I applaud the innovation however.  Maybe you've thought of this and I'm missing something?

They look to be 6" wheels. That's just not going to cut it going up stairs. Needs to be at least 10" in my book.

Hi Guys, Thanks for the kind words. Most machines ( rotary) I looked at modifying before I built from scratch used 5" wheels and they were tough to go up certain steps that had a big overhang on the step itself. These 6" I find climb steps very easy, even with a full tank. I think part of the ease of use is the precision sealed ball bearings that spin very easily and the 3rd wheel that helps to distribute the weight  (89 pounds empty). You can remove the tank and carry up also as the Mini does have a front lift handle. If the tank stays in and its not completely full I use the chassis or base lift handle and one of the handles on the tank. I never carry up the steps, I use the wheels. The lifting part was in and out of the van. I still clean and use the Mini to go up steps in one property that has 8 buildings, each with 2 floors. I wanted to get this on video with my 4 11" wife taking it up steps but I already was running long on time.Hope this helps.

Just curious, how heavy are the machines that you are using that need bigger wheels? Thanks

I was Never successful with dragging up stairs and found it less work to just Hulk it up steps. Weight wise 97-119lbs. If I remember right only having two wheels got dangerous if attempting to drag up so i could see the three helping in that area. It would help stay balanced. Up in the NW lots of folks have deck steps up to the front door and 4 months of the year u have no traction while trying to pull. Does that front tank holder pop off easy too, or just the tank?

Hi, I could see that type of step being more of a problem. Part of the dynamic with the wheels would also be the distance between them as the wider they are the more stable the machine will be.The tank holder does not come off but with the tank removed you have plenty of handle that is easy to grab and that combined with the front lift handle and the lower weight its not bad to lift. My last machine was a Cleantronics that weighed close to 120 with no bottom lift handle. I hated lifting that machine so for me the Mini  is a piece of cake.Taking 20 to 30 pounds off in this weight range is 24 to 35% less and is really noticeable when lifting . Thanks for the response to my question.
