Damp Crawl Space

Does anyone know how to get rid of a mildew smell in a crawlspace? The dirt always seems moist and there is a slight odor that is starting to develop. Also from what I can see it is poorly ventilated. Two vents on the outside and they are only about 8"X16".

There are several things that can be done.

More ventilation is the least expensive. There is also a company that will come in and seal the crawlspace, add ventilation, etc. Its a franchise thing. A friend of mine has one but I can't remember what its called?

I don't it is possible to install a Basement Dehumidifier in the crawl space or if it can actually reach unto that place to eliminate molds and damp air. But, there are still other things to do to prevent damp air, how about sealing it with plastic vapor barrier? i don't know how much it costs but at least you can protect your home and as well as the air you breathe. newbielink:http://www.computerseo.com/ [nonactive]
