Google OS is going to be awesome.. not for me.. but awesome for schools, parents, grandparents, some of the people on this board, etc. I like having the reigns of the horse and there is no way Im gonna get rid of my control panel, my computer, .. etc. Another thing I dont know if I would ever be able to get over is trusting google/government (US) with ALL of my content held on my computer. All of a suddon pics, movies, docs, etc will start showing up when doing google searches. . .. ok maybe not. But still its possible, especially knowing a good hacker or two in my days, I know how it is possible to just blow open people's files and expose them. .. cough WikiLinks Cough!
Another thing I can't get over is how in Egypt a couple months ago, thier government shut off the internet - because people were protesting
about there now past leader. That scares me! Can you imagine not being able to even turn on your computer to look up bank files, addresses, phone numbers? Now thats crazy stuff..
Really great thought and idea, and good find, I knew they were up to something but had no idea they were going that far deep into the depth.
The only files I want on and off my device via cloud will be music and pics .. maybe files but probably not.
