I'm curious as to where all the dirt/ crap/ grime goes after low moisture cleaning say on a Nasty carpet?  I do realize that allot of the 'crap' clings to the pads so you change out pads.  But how about deep down to the backing, if I were to separate the fibers and look to the backing, is all that dirt going to be gone?

I have cleaned with HWE with just the wand and still saw dirt deep embedded down in the fibers. I then attached my rotovac and cut loose with that over the same area and took another peek into fibers. day and night difference!  (dirt was gone)

Will the low moisture clean as deep and as effectively as say a TM with a Rx20 or rotovac attached?   :-\

Yes, especially with an OP machine. They "dig" into the carpet very well. I follow up with a CRB and it makes even a bigger difference in my book. A good pre and post vac in the VLM world makes a huge difference in how well a carpet is cleaned.

I have used Rotovac and wand now I'm OP. The Rotovac does do a good job however uses alot of water what you see the day of cleaning may differ as it wicks from the padding into the backing and partial fibers after drying.  Granted alot depands on the tech with any system. My point is when I switched my customers have noticed all the benefits of OP without sacrificing the results of HWE.

I so ditto that.  Same experience all the way thru.  Not to say I sold my extracor or rotovac, but I haven't had a use for them that couldn't also be done with Bonnet in my case.

I did not say that, Encap Green is a good product, I just like the fragrance, results, and price of Ultra if anything I would compare it as a equal to Encap Green in my opinion.

Cost of a case of each is within a couple dollars, however I always spike my Encap Green with Spot/Boost and Odorcide which increase my cost, also shipping is FREE with 1 case of Ultra, if I'm not mistaken Vac Away is Free with $200.00 of product. like I suggested to Grant try a gallon  you may have a different opinion. Keep us posted if you try it.

I've been using Ultra with no issues.

Used some today with a TON of dog ****, poop, and hairball, wished I had taken pics like Jeff.  I mixed mine @ 6oz/gallon and added 2oz/gallon of odorcide.  Everything looked and smelled great.  Protected with Fiber Cop baby powder scent.

The last 4 clients have all said great things about the scent in Ultra.  I thought there was a need to get the no odor one but there isn't, the smell of it goes away in 30-45 minutes, by the time you do the 2nd story and go do the 1st the fresh scent goes away.

Both Ultra and EG are good products, I think they clean equally well.

I prefer the Ultra because it smells great, smells good when cleaning and custys usually notice and compliment  it.

Both products have the same MSDS rating so I'm not worried using it in homes.

It's also nice not having to buy other products to hit that $200 free shipping.

Stefan, let us know how you like their spotter.

Bill, wanna go half & half on the Carpet Max?

Might have to check one of these out when it slows down in January!

I haven't done the costs comparison, but for $13k it would be pretty hard to swing that.   :P

That Carpet Max weighs over 500 lbs. .     :P  After loading it in the van I'd probably be in the hospital, double hernias, pulled or broken back, balls hanging to the floor!    At that point  I could hardly wait to get to custys house to get it up the first flight of stairs.   LOL   ;D
Just saying,  it is kind of heavy.    Looks like it can cover some ground!

Bud, very funny lmao ;D ;D

I'd have to have a few very large commercial accounts UNDER CONTRACT before getting that thing.  It looks pretty awesome though.

I seriously contemplated that machine a few years ago.

Decided we could get a couple more Brutes instead.

If I was doing commercial again and working by myself that would be a nice machine. Cost is quite high though?

Obviously one would need ramps to move it.  :)

I want one of those just so i could ride around the neighborhood with it.  I Dont care if I ever clean a carpet with it. It just looks like fun.

Plus if I could ever get a Hotel contract, can you imagine how quick you could whip through doing all the hallways? and Ballrooms? That would be awesome!!!!!!!!!!!
