Releasit DS2
« on: May 14, 2011, 11:14:15 PM »
Just cracked open a gallon of the reformulated DS2 today. Outstanding product, outstanding results :great:. I was cleaning the carpet in a bank, a commercial glue down. I had a bit of Intensity Green in my sprayer (4oz per gal) so I used it on some waiting room chairs, and 1/2 of an office. Once I ran out of green I filled with the DS2 (4ozper gal). Worked so good and so quick I had to go back over the area I used the green on before I left so it would blend in. The new formula smells fantastic with what seems to be a touch of mint. No cough issues at all. Highly recommended. I have decided to keep three products on the truck, DS2 and Hydrox for low moisture and Intensity Red for HWE pre-spray and emulsifier.

10% citrus extract...  80% less than Citra-pure.. I am sure it works but you have to use alot to get comprable results as CP

I can not imagine citrus NOT leaving a sticky residue.

But I am no chemist.

I wouldn't imagine just because it was derived from citrus that it would have to be sticky. something to test out.

It is the pH level I am worried about.

My unspoken point:

why mess with a good thing? Steve has good juices that do not attract resoiling.

http://msds.formulacorp.com/pdf/msds_eng/citra%20bonnet.pdf

The Msds on citra-bonnet dosnt look to bad. PH- 6.0 - 8.5  But it has two different solvents in it. I am pretty sure this stuf would leave monster residue and attract dirt pretty fast.
just my guess though as I have never used it.

I will have to say  :32: to DS releasit.... I opened a container inside Interlink and had the worst migrain as did the selling guy..
To top it off I got home around 2pm and sat down in my chair and started having serious issues. I ended up passing out and could not wake up.. I kept trying to wake up but could not keep my eyes open..It was pretty scarey...

Unless the interlink guy gave me a Roofie.. lol

Gnu, he's talking about the new, reformulated releasit ds2.  You probably smelled the old releasit.  Though the old one seems to me to smell pretty good, after a bit I get a headache and usually start sneezing.  I haven't tried the new one yet, but sounds like he made a winner.

I used DS2 yesterday for a church, and was pleasently surprised by the fresh smell, I have used alot of the old DS and when doing large areas it would make my nose run, sneeze, cough etc. The new stuff is thumbs up still cleans the same also, good job Rick!
