I love odorcide.  I must admit I haven't "tried them all" but this one works great with encap products which is essential for us pad-cap folks.  So until I hear of something better that works with encap products I'll stick with odorcide.  My customers love it.

Grant,

What type of encap product do you find works best with Odorcide?  Would Encap Green work ok?

Thanks,

Brian

Odorcide has a bit of a strange odor in my opinion but it's growing on me.

I think cobbcarpet.com has something similar,

http://www.proschoice.com/html/x-cide.html

X-cide, the newest technology in odor removal, integrates the science of (Absorption, Pairing, Modification, and Encapsulation) to safely and permanently eliminate odors without leaving objectionable fragrance or sticky residue behind.

and here it is!
( i hope )

i tried becoming the local distributor for odocide and was downright SHOCKED at how rude the manager of it was !
normally i wouldnt care, but ugh.  Much harder to buy the product thinking of him:P

so ill order some and try it head to head vs odorcide....somehow?
test suggestions?

Did you try it out?

Looks like the same price as the original odorcide.

I get it from excellent-supply.com only because they've always given me great customer service and nobody local sells it.  For some reason I don't save any money having it shipped here from Seattle (90 miles away) versus Florida (3000 miles away), go figure.

For my first order I got the 16 oz. bottle and a 1 gallon.  I re-fill the smaller bottle whenever it runs low, it's the kind where you squeeze the bottle and it fills up a little 1 oz. area at the top, then you can just pour out 1 oz if you like.  Easy to use, small package, and fits in my spotter bag.

Yes at $80 a gallon plus shipping with odorcide we're looking at close to $90 a gallon.  Maybe we should try to find something else!

X-Cide looks to be a similar product, I have heard Hydracide is as well.  Hydracide is in the PetZone I use and seems to work great in that.  I think another is Proliminator or something like that.  If anybody has tried these (or other similar products) chime in please.

Looks like a good deal on the X-cide Bill, know anybody that uses and likes it?

Let me know but odorcide is one awesome product!!! I've treated a dog pissed chair they were thrilled, I've treated a dog pissed couch they were thrilled.  I have treated many cat and dog pee carpet areas and not one call back!!! Do these products really compare one gallon of odorcide goes a long way and I charge occordingly usually $50. I do discount if they get a urine treatment but I charge fifty a gallon for that.

The proliminator lasts longer than Odorcide if you look at the dillution ratio.

I haven't tried any of them yet, my main concern is if they can applied to our encap pre sprays while we are cleaning.  I read Chemeisters and Pro's choice products and it says it should be applied before or after the cleaning.  Nothing about adding to your pre spray.  So I'm curious about that right there.  Pre spraying before or after would add time to the cleaning.

I spoke with the lady at chemister about proliminator. She said it can be used any way you want, add to pre spray, or before or after spray. Various dilutions for different applications. I intend to try it out soon. The Sunshine version seems to be the one every one raves about. I know Mike C. Has used it maybe he can offer his Opinion on it.

BTW when in the heck has Mike C. Been ??? I haven't  seen him post in a while , and I kinda miss the old fart.
