Encap Green
« on: January 27, 2012, 11:55:19 PM »
Anyone still using Encap Green or has everyone switched to Intensity red or green or Peroxicellent? I've been using Intensity Red with great results but I really like the way Encap green smells.

Do you notice very much difference between the intensity's and Encap Green?

If your using vacaway products you should try Blast! It's awesome. I also use Peroxcellent and Spot N Boost.

My go-to product is Encap Green. I have been very happy with how it works. I am adding Excellent Supply products to my collection.

The main thing I have liked so far about IR is the low dilution rate.

I was totally disappointed with Intensity Red. Not sure if I got a bad batch or what, but it wouldn't get up anything. I was excited with the low dilution ratio, but I generally stick with DS2 and Punch now.

Interesting. How about Encap Green or Peroxicellant, do you have any opinions on these?

I 'm trying out a few new products right now, but for the longest time I used encap green.  I may go back to it.  You can handle anything with it,  if you have a real greasey carpet or trashed, add 2 onces of spot n boost,  keep some peroxellent on hand for organic stains, n soiling, (and for white carpets)   With those 2 products you can takle any challenge.

Blast is too expensive  IMO,  plus smells to strong for me.    I can do every bit as well with encap green , and peroxellent for the pee jobs when ineeded.      Intesity green has also been a real good product , I feel it cleans as well as the red , with out the amonia stink.   But there's somthing about encap green, I miss using it.

I like the Encap Green.  I used some today on a job that was lightly soiled berber and a wool area rug, it's nice to have because it's versatile.  I could use that for everything if the other stuff didn't work so well.  Plus, I prefer the smell of IG over EG.

I've been using mostly Blast since it got cold, don't want to have to carry to many things in at the end of the day, and have been very happy with that.  I really like it on light colored and heavily soiled carpet, outstanding results with minimal effort.

What I like to do is use IG as every day juice, mix up a little Blast to use on traffic areas and heavily soiled and use EG for upholstery and wool.  I just don't feel like lugging 2 milk crates full of product in and out every day.  Can't wait till I can leave product overnight in car.

I add Hydrogen Peroxcide to my Encap Green everytime and I dunked all my pads in a bucket to make sure they are saturated with the mix.  Want to avoid dirty chemical?  Get a second bucket for a fresh water rinse of the pads.  I clean by shampoo, HWE and VLM.  Cleaning carpet is like washing up from a holiday supper.  You may use steel wool on the turkey roasting pan, but a soft sponge is the preferred method for the crystal, china and real silverware.  Different areas of carpet require different treatment methods in my book.
