Dirt Assassin and the new Grime Reaper Part 2 vs a Diner
« on: April 17, 2010, 06:14:30 PM »
Dirt Assassin wins hands down.  I couldn't believe it this traffic lane was black.  5 min dwell threw a fiber pad down and the brown just shot through I had not even used a glad yet or sprayed grime reaper.  I cannot believe how quick I cleaned this restaurant 2 hours that includes setup, breakdown and move tables, prevac, prespray, dwell, prescrub, clean, post vac, and resetup. Dirt Assassin has made cleaning restaurants a breeze.  I also use dirt assassin in residential as my prespray and it has made nasty rentals a breeze as well.  You guys need to try a gallon it can also be used in hwe.  There were also your typical black spill spots by the tables I needed no other treatment. I did use dirt assassin at max ratio.  I used 10 glads total on this restaurant and as you can see it is clean and I was picking up grease on the glads.

Looks like you got some great results!  :)

2 hours seems very reasonable too.

We DON'T?.......................How come no one told me?!  ::)

I'm very glad to hear that these chems can tackle a restaurant.

Tried doing a greasy place a few years ago and the chems available at the time just didn't cut it so I gave up on restaurants altogether. It was just waaay to much work for the results I was getting.

When I did the cimex/op combo, the results were good but it took a very long time.  I can only imagine with lots of glad pads they will be blackened for life, that's what happened with mine.  The other boards mentioned going in with a very strong high ph pre spray like grease eraser, powermax, etc fed thru the cimex or op w/ fiber max pads, hwe w/ very high heat, than possibly post padding w/ op.  The main issue with that process is the time it would take.

The big restys I did between 3-5k sq ft wanted me in and out in 3 hours or less, I always did them in about 4 hours.  Adding hwe, would add more time, or need a 3rd person to help us out. We were always 2, and the restys always moved the furniture.

Yes would be very hard to a good job in a reasonable time.  The full process I did on the trashed job the other night slowed me down to 400 sf per hour.   Those pictures have me wondering if dirt assassin is that much better than dirt assassin green?

ps: Chris are you using fiber pads with your breeze?  Whenever I tried that it just shredded them in about 10 minutes.

Grant it is that much better.  It has butyl though according to Steve which the green version does not. My pads are not permanently black since I started using dirt assassin and I did not pre-soak them at the job site.  I do however make sure I wash them the same day and they look just like my resi pads.  I went and had lunch at the diner today there is a flooring dealer two doors down.  The flooring owner came in for lunch and thought they installed new carpet.  He is now referring me all his cleaning inquires since he only installs.  The carpet dried perfect no grease wick back feels good I forgot to mention 4 previous hwe cleaners could not get rid of the black lanes.  It says a lot to me about where these chemicals are taking us.  Will I be padding a huge nasty layered grease pit no way.  But I have an appointment to reclean the diner in three weeks and monthly thereafter and I am getting .20 a sq ft monthly. The fiber max gray ones hold up well under the breeze. the tan ones do shred but man can they chew through grease I just use them on really bad traffic lanes grant they are $6.00 a piece I just figure that in my quote.
