Deodorizer?
«

I put some encap green and spot and boost to use and am happy with the way they work. Im just finding the smell to be a little irritating (mostly the spot and boost). Is there anything that can be applied after using these cleaners to neutralize the smell? Think Ive read that some of you deodorize the carpets on your jobs and just thought Id ask.

Any odor from the Spot and Boost goes away when the carpet dries. It is what it is and I don't think you can really hide the odor from it.
The EG has deodorizing properties itself and doesn't have a bad odor? If the odor from the Spot N Boost bothers you can you increase the amount of EG when you mix?

The smell of Spot N Boost is the main reason why I do not use it. Works good but the smell is aweful !!

I guess I will play around with the mixture and see if I can arrive at a happy place. It does smell awful but seems to work great. AHhhhhh such is life!

Chem you SISSY!
I LIKE the smell of the stuff. The worse it smells the better it works right?.............Seriously though the smell doesn't bother me at all. We used to stock a prespray that had a similar odor only stronger so I guess I'm used to it?
We used to have some real nasty smelling chems years ago. Who knows what was in it (waay pre MSDS) but boy did it work!

I'm with Mike, I actually like the smell, but sometimes it can be overwhelming, even though I think that Hel Gel's citrus smell is a bit stronger.

It's not the smell. It's the pink elephants.
