As the guy that posted the first post... I think that I may have ben asking a question that didn't require a "VS.", my question was more of, from my perspective as a newbie, "I know that members have only used rotary's and though they know that OP is available, and they probably use it too, along with HWE... is there a situation in which a 175 comes on top? I knew that there might be, maybe. Otherwise the rotary/175/bonnet application wouldn't still be so popular. I was thinking T&G, but I've seen situations where bonnet "padding" did great work. Actually, I have learned through this, and I'm learning, that I was asking a question that was effecting too broad an answer in the biz. I believe that as HWE is to OP... so is OP to Rotary... it's, I know now, all about using the right application, with the right chems, with the right equipment. If this isn't a science... I don't know what is?

There is a bit of art to it as well (operator).

Otherwise how would cleaners armed with the same science get different results?

I've worked numerous large commercial jobs using the same chems and equipment yet we got different results than others. One time there were three of us working off one machine (HWE) in one large hall. Same vacuum, pressure, heat, etc. It was during that cleaning I noticed how each of us had a slightly different technique. That was all it took for the cleaning to look different.

Thanks for the original post. It gave everyone something to talk about.

OK - Sorry I haven't been around much to referee.

I would advise all to review http://uscleanersnetwork.com/smf/want-join-start-here/guidelines-forum-4.0.html

Personal attacks are not needed or wanted. I will either begin deleting posts or banning members who continue.

I'm struck by something about these debates. Do you realize that the vast majority of cleaners use HWE to clean carpets? Here we are nit picking each other over intricacies of low moisture when its a small percentage of cleaning methods used in the industry. 175 and OP have more in common than not.

Not trying to tick anybody off, but I have got to say something. Sounds to me like you need to head to Philly Johnny G. You have been called out. Go to Philly, challenge Bonnet Pro's machines, get it on tape, and if you win, that would be gold for you. That trip could produce a lot more in sales than your tour around most of the country did. Can you imagine how many cleaners would want to see that video?

You have said in no uncertain terms that your Trinity is in a different league compared to any other low moisture machine, so go prove it dude. Sounds like Bonnet Pro could be giving you a gift.  Plus, how's it gonna look if you don't go? JMO

Yeah but it looks like neither one of these guys have much respect for Mike and his wishes. What a shame.
