Mini Max update
« on: January 15, 2012, 12:03:57 PM »
Cleaned a bank building yesterday, approximately 6000 sq. ft. of carpet. We have been cleaning this facility annually for the last 10 years and yesterday was by far the most enjoyable to date. Over the years I have used a Cimex one year, and OP machines at other times. and both did a great job. But yesterday, to my surprise took the cake. The job went quicker, looked great, and when we were finished I wasn't even tired, and actually wished that there had been more carpet to clean. The spray system, among a few other things, on the Mini Max sets it apart from other low moisture machines. (watch the videos at Bonnet Pro to see a demo)

When I purchased this machine, I had about 5 hours total experience with a rotary and thousands of hours with my OP machines, so I have had to learn a lot in the past month or so. After quite a few residences and several nice commercial jobs, I am gettin pretty good with this system. I even got a phone call yesterday from a carpet cleaning buddy in another State while cleaning and continued to run the Mini Max with one hand and talk on the phone with the other for about 10 minutes. He asked me during the course of the conversation if I was still liking the Mini Max and I said that I had been cleaning with it while we were talking. He said "really"?! He said that he couldn't even hear it running. ;D

The Mini Max may not be for everybody but I for one have been havin a ball using it.  ;D Sure was a neat way to break the boredom without sacrificing our cleaning quality.

Yes, my Orbot does have a spray system. I still love my Orbot and still use it for tile and grout. I also still love OP cleaning, but the Mini Max is allowing me to experience a new versatility in cleaning directions. With the Orbot you are limited to forward and backward motions, the Mini Max allows me to go front to back, side to side, or a blending of the two.
The Mini Max utilizes a pulse low drift front sprayer that helps to keep the chemical from misting in the air. You can also use the shower feed if you want to go with fiber pads and straight encapping. With either delivery system you have the option of setting the sprayer on auto feed which is really neat on wide open commercial areas. It also has a valve to set the amount of solution that you want to deliver.

I also like the weight of the machine. It has enough head weight to clean properly but you can also pick it up and carry it up a flight of stairs if you need to. I usually just pull it up stairs using the wheels, but the other day I had to go up a fire escape without risers so I had to carry it. Also makes it easier to load in the van. I have to use a ramp for my Cimex or Orbot.

It is just a well thought out carpet cleaning machine, IMO.

after running rx-20 and rotaries for years...the straight line movement was refreshing

G you should introduce your self in the"break the ice"

Same for me. I was tired of running rotarys for 15 years. I like the vacuuming type of movement.

Hey G Kleen, after cleaning with that mini-max, how do you finish up? Carpet rake? Post vacuum? I know it has to leave swirl marks.

Watched some of the minimax promo videos. They guy demoing the machine does a nice job of explaining LM encap methods. Interesting comparison with the Cimex as well.

Hi, The current Mini Max price is $ 3890. Until the end of the month of February 2012 if you mention this post I will offer a special price of $3490 and I will include the spotter caddy for free. This offer cannot be combined with the web special. I also now have leasing available for as little as $ 115.00 per month with average credit and this number was taken at full price so your payment could be less. Info available on the Mini web pages at www.bonnetpro.com
