Bonnet pro questions (spotter,etc.)
« on: February 08, 2012, 11:15:45 AM »
Thought about calling but posting here as others may have the same questions,
So I'm just about out of spot n boost (general spotter, good for ink,)  Thinking of giving the bonnet pro stuff a try,  but what I  like most about spot n boost is how well it works for ink.

Will this bonnet pro spotter work well on ink?  While we are on the subject,, what kind of spots is it good for and what kind will it have a hard time with?
Another thing I need is some bonnets for my new toy, (13 inch 175)   I notice only 17 - 19 inch pads on the site. Can I get smaller pads from you John?  Thinking 15 inch would be a good fit?.

Hi Andy. I don't carry the 15`s as I may only get 1 or 2 requests per year. The only 15" I have is in a Revive pad.
My demo at the NJSSA trade show was to use a permanent marker on a tan nylon and Surround it out. Their are many different types of inks and ink blends but I have had good results on most problem spots. I have also used it to take out straight grease from the gun I use on the CarpetMax caster. It takes a little work just using a rag but it does come out. The red dye from that grease does not come completely out. For general stuff it is very good. I think the limit would be tar or spots that need a specific chemical like rust.

Ok , thanks for answering my questions.  Sounds like your stuff should work similar to spot n boost.
