Getting commercial jobs
« on: July 11, 2011, 11:59:57 PM »
I was looking to pick up on more commercial work.  What approaches should I be looking at to get into this.
I have been just taking them as they came but would like to push for more.  Have an apt. complex and some office space that may be coming up but would like to get more of this type of work.

First thing to do is identify what type of commercial work you want.

If Apartments are your target then find out how many and who runs what within a geographical area you want to work. You can start with yellow pages, or super pages online. Once you get a list of places or management companies you need to contact them, send something, whatever.

Yes, apts. was one thing I was considering, along with offices, stores. about anything right now.   I have an old friend up from Phx Az. doing cleaniong with me.  We use to work at same carpet cleaning outfit there.
Im still trying to comm. fish and wanted to set him loose with the van and TM .   An old cleaner so theres not allot to teach him aside from technology change in the last 20 someodd years with chems and such.    If I could find enough work I'd probably get done fishing. I've been hating fishing for years, and every trip I hate it more.  Moneys good but the lifestyle stinks.
