I am stopping smoking after 30 years. 4/1/9 will be the first day with 0 smokes.

If you know anyone wishing to stop, PM me for details.

My truck of 6 years has had a few years to absorb the nasty smell. My Dad stopped in the late 80's and he take offense easy at the smell. he is also on O2 and has COPD.

Yesterday I bought a vaportek SOS cartridge used for smoke smell.

They work. Dad stuck his head in my truck and although he did not care for the new scent, he could not smell smoke.
In the back seat of my truck were pads (old used ones) and plenty of towels that have been back there for months. They absorb the smoke smell. As well as a sweater from the week of winter we had :) also smelling of smoke.

I was going to remove them and wash.... no need.

This product works kids. I laid the cartridge in front of an air mover amd left for two hours.

Game over.

The cartridge has plenty of use left and goes to a friend house who also quit smoking recently and hates the 'new smell'. The cartridge goes into the HVAC return vent right after the filter. Set atop furniture blocks and if needed, duct taped into place.

80 bucks.

Nice to know that product works. My wife quit smoking 2 years ago.....cold turkey! She says until your mind is ready to quit....you wont. It's a mental thing. She has smoked since she was 14. Her whole family smokes except for her now. And like Phils dad....she can't stand the smell of cigarette smoke. My wife says that when you are a smoker you don't realize how bad you and your things smell until you quit.
Phil- Good luck to you. I hope your mind is SET on quitting. We need you around here a few more years. Your sence of humor keeps us going (because Mike M. and Micky's just doesn't do anything for me  :D ).

Good question. Let me address it.

The book is Easyway To Quit Smoking. In it the author discusses smoking, why we do etc.

He writes NOT to stop until you finish the book. I will be done b4 the end of the month (maybe tonight) but my target date is BY 4/1.

cut me some slack here, I am quiting. But this thread is not about my vices but about the product. :)
