Vacaway Spot N Boost
« on: June 11, 2009, 07:46:57 AM »
I bought some Spot N Boost to try with ENC DS.

The smell of the product reminded me of something I had used in the past but I couldn't remember what. It hit me last night while I was working........Prochem Ultra Pak. I used to go through that stuff by the boatload in the day. The smell never bothered me but some customers were just about driven out by it. It was an excellent hot water prespray.

Haven't had enough jobs with the product yet to give a good feedback but if its anything like Ultra Pak it works great! Had some ENC kicking around so I thought I would try boosting it instead of buying some Hotknife. Will know more after this weekends lineup of work how it performs.

I have come to the conclusion that SNB works just as well as Cyclone HWE. I went back to Cyclone HWE because there is NO soapy looking residue when using it. SNB suds up real bad and I am not comfortable using it in my business. Plus, I am not fond of the smell either.

I use Cyclone for spotting for the same reason Chem. I have a feeling Spot N Boost might leave a residue if used by itself. As a booster I think its OK? Not sure the performance is up to Hotknife though?

I only use SNB as a booster, not as a spotter, i seem to do fine with EG most of the time.

Mike SNB works awesome as a booster. I had a supper bad rental house a few months ago with all kinds of grease oil and gunk. I wasn't getting good results with enc green so I put 4 oz of spot N boost in my 2 gallon mix and that carpet cleaned up great. The best cleaning power of anything  I ever used before including hot knife.  I don't like to use it though as the smell bothers me. It's a last resort kinda thing for me and only on empty homes will I use it.

I use spot'n'boost and love the results you have to use it straight in my opinion.  I found I had to agitate cyclone where spot'n'boost just made the stain disappear before I got there to clean over it with a pad.

Must have just come out in the last few days?  I figured you were just mis-rembering and thinking of Dirt Assassin Green but I went to their website and there is snb green... It will be a while though I still have a lot of snb and I go through it very slowly (except in college rental season!).
