Surround Ultra vs. Dirt Assassin
« on: November 22, 2010, 05:33:05 PM »
I have been cleaning with Surround Ultra and have had very good results. Can anyone give me imformation as to how does it compare to Dirt Assassin? With the dilution ratio using Dirt Assassin looks like it could go a long way. Thanks John

To my understanding Dirt Assassin is primarily a HWE or traffic lane cleaner not a suggested pad cap product.  I know C Spot uses it as a booster for Peroxy.

Nope, DA can be used for op/bonnet cleaning as well. Thank you, come again!

DA cleans incredibly well, the problem is the fumes. I only use it rare as a back up for traffic lanes that don't clean up with my regular stuff,

I haven't used surround yet , but I would be very surprised if it could out clean DA.

How does Hot Knife stand against Dirt Assassin and does Hknife expose fumes? I am trying to keep my cleaning solution to maybe 2 or 3 different types. Thanks John

DA smells WAY stronger than HK. I had a gallon of DA and only used a few ounces and ended up selling the gallon. Couldn't stand the smell. HK has a nice light frangrance I think. HK always cleans real well. It is a good all around chem to have.

Keep in mind that DA is designed for oil-loving-carpet.

I use it often as a booster for my peroxy. It smells like ****. (let the edit program figure that one out)

I think Mike should disable the language blocker. As long as Nutech watches what he says things are ok. There was no problem until he joined.

What sucks is this whole "language" thing happened because of one guy. It's a bummer what happens when one person doesn't follow the forum guidlines.
Yeah, yeah....go ahead and paint me as "holyer than thou". I am not trying to come across that way. But I dont want to be reading foul language on here and for the last four years.........never have, until recently.

Watch out Phil .................the program is adaptive.

True, we did implement because of one member who hasn't been seen lately. Where did he go?
