Surround Ultra
« on: August 11, 2010, 07:25:09 PM »
Got it today, going to use in the morning.  Will post my reviews even though Jeff and Scott said it's their primary pre spray now already.

Hope to not need odorcide for general deodorizing, will leave the odorcide for light pet odor.  I'm using Matrix Miracle from Jondon for the more severe ones w/ the water claw.

Not taking anything away from EG but I add S/B and Odorcide to 6oz. EG per gal., it all adds up $, if I can get the same results and not have to spike then its a value to me.

http://www.bonnetpro.com/encapsulation/surround_ultra.html

Used Ultra today at a large residential job, 2 levels, upstairs old olefin, downstairs berber.   Diluted @ 4oz/gallon.

Overall cleaned just like EG w/out having to add odorcide, BUT I love the smell of it..."it smells clean" was what the customer said to me today.

Protected with fiber cop baby powder scent, ran out of soil blocker.

Have few jobs tomorrow and the weekend where I'll be doing more testing and see what people think of the scent.

I didn't know Ultra was a DS product, my question to Jeff or Scott is will it make the carpet crunchy like Release IT DS does?

their " free" looks neat too
odor free would be handy for those extreme cases of chemical/smell sensitivity

No crunching here.

I love the smell too, it's the best product to use in a lightly soiled carpet because it smells so clean.  Thought I might get more referrals with such a nice smell but can't say that's happened yet..  That's why I've been trying other products.  May have found one for both, still testing.  Used Trashed Green on very nasty off white w/ light blue stripes sofa & love seat today, looked great, will be testing on carpet.  That Kwik Steam does a nice job on uph.

Oops don't want to hijack thread like guy from VA :o

Finished the week with Ultra, has been great as mentioned on Jeff's thread below.

Had a client actually tell me her house never smelled so fresh and clean.   The scent is not overwhelming, only when you spray it, but in less than a hour it goes away.
