« on: April 07, 2010, 12:07:55 PM »
Hello Everyone,

Has anyone tried these products?  I am sure they would work great with the OP cleaning method.  There is lots of great information and helpful tips for us low moisture folk.  Check out this link newbielink:http://www.foamerscorner.com [nonactive].

Have a great day,

Brian

I've been to Foamers Corner before. Great site for VonSchrader type systems.  :)

We have a link to Foamers Corner in our LINKS section.

Never used any of their products though.

Hi Brian,

I've used Premium Blend in both my Von Schrader LMX and to padcap with and I've been very pleased with the results.  Bill is very knowledgeable and willing to help you with any questions.  I think it's $16.90 per gallon, $16.00 per case of 4, almost half of other encaps.

Thanks for the response Mike and Big O,

It's nice to know that there are other effective methods and solutions out there.  Big O, how often do you use the LMX?  Does it clean well?  Do you use the Esprit upholstery cleaning machine?

Brian,

I started with the LMX and used it for 1 or 2 jobs a day.  It cleans well but is a little cumbersome to use on a daily basis.  I switched to OP last August and use the VS primarily for oriental & braided rugs.

I use the Esprit a lot and have been pretty happy with it.

Thanks for the response.  That is what i figured.  Von Schrader needs to update the look of their equipment and company image.  The pictures are also out dated.  Maybe they could redesign the LMX to be more maneuverable in the residential setting.  Who knows, if they modernized their equipment they could increase sales.  They have sure had much success over the years...it's a great method of cleaning.

Have a nice day!

There cleaner works great on furniture with a horse hair brush too.  I was amazed when we had a woman with nicotine stains on her ceiling in her travel trailer the premium blend just pulled the nicotine out. Why they put carpet on the ceiling is just a mystery to me  ???.

I've used it in the past with my chemstractor, it's a good cleaner that dries brittle and mixes 4 oz per gal. a great value at about $17 a gal.
If I were encapping with a cimex I would give this a try.
